Do I Need an Appointment?
Appointments are recommended as they minimize your wait time and ensure a medical professional is available to see you. Contact us for an appointment. Walk-ins are accepted and we will work you in where it is possible.
What Do I need For My Appointment?
For your pregnancy test and STI test, please bring your Alberta Health Care number and a photo ID. If you do not have Alberta Heath Care or photo ID, please inform the receptionist before your appointment so arrangements can be made if we are unable to provide services.
How Long is My First Appointment?
You should allow 60 minutes for your appointment. You will be meeting with a a medical professional for testing and education as well as a Client Advocate to work through a personal decision making guide,The Client Advocate will also help you determine your next steps. It is important to take time to get all the information and services you need to make this life-changing decision.
How Soon Will I Get My Results?
Confirmation of pregnancy can be done at your appointment with a medical professional. STI Risk Assessment and necessary screening will be done at your appointment. STI screening results take up to 2 weeks. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled before you leave and you will receive your results at the follow-up appointment.
